History of our reptile farm
It was at the age of 4 that Hervé Maranda, the founding owner of our farm, became acquainted with reptiles. Sometime later, he was offered a large diamond-backed turtle that was initially intended to be eaten. He then continued to collect animals such as iguanas, snakes, etc. And it was in 1985 that he decided to transform his hobby into a passion and founded the reptile farm.
Today, the centre hosts more than 300 animals and is widely known in Laval and throughout the North Shore.
The centre now hosts more than 300 animals.
